We designed the visual identity for Mari Koppanen’s doctoral research exhibition at the Natural History Museum in Oslo. The exhibition explores amadou which is a leather-like material derived from the tinder fungus. We redesigned the visual identity of Arkkitehti – We redesigned the visual identity of Arkkitehti – Finnish Architectural Review across both print and digital platforms. The goal was to bring clarity and readability to the publication while refining its typographic expression. The project included a careful evolution of the logo and visual identity, the development of a new editorial design system for the magazine. The updated layout emphasises structure, rhythm and typographic hierarchy, supporting the journal’s long-form content and making it more comfortable to read across different formats. Alongside the print redesign, we translated the visual language to the website to ensure a coherent experience between the magazine and its digital presence.
